The One Book, One Philadelphia 2022 selection, My Broken Language–Quiara Alegría Hudes’ memoir of coming of age in 1980s and 90s Philadelphia–is a testament to the power of story-keeping and building a community archive of Philly’s Latinx voices.
Join us for a special evening co-curated with the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival (PHLAFF) that includes the screening of their 2022 LOLA Award Nominees — Los Shorts highlighting experiences of African Descent (afrodescendientes) and/or the Afro Latino Diaspora.
